Matthew has had a camera in his hand ever since he could remember, making home movies and stop motion films as a child. His filmmaking career began in high school, filming his friends riding bikes at the skatepark and capturing the Northern California BMX scene with a full length DVD "On Mommas". After graduating from the Cinema program at San Francisco State University, Matthew relocated to Los Angeles where he writes, produces, directs, shoots and edits music videos, films, and commercials.
His debut feature film (ICONIC) released internationally in 2025 after critical acclaim on the international film festival circuit. Matthew continues to endless create across medium, constantly pushing his knowledge of visual art and film.
